Mr. Forsythe has a varied background in the workforce as well as in education.  After graduating from Mansfield State College in 1978 he worked in the corrections field as a county prison guard and adult probation and parole officer, and county court administrator.  He then worked in private retail security for six years as a regional security manager.  He entered education in 1988 and taught Social Studies and coached football and basketball.  He has been involved with school administration for the past twenty years as an athletic director, attendance officer, assistant principal, middle school and high school principal, and previous vocational school director.
