Mr. Bacher had been a high school English teacher and track and field coach in both the Mount Carmel and Danville Area School Districts prior to becoming an administrator here at the Columbia-Montour A.V.T.S. Prior to a career in public education, Mr. Bacher ran a 150 bed facility for adjudicated juveniles. He had also served the Columbia-Montour Council of the Boy Scouts of America as the Iroquois District's executive.
