**Grading**

Quarter grades will be computed using a point system. Students will earn points for completed assignments, quizzes, projects and tests. The number of points possible will be divided by the number of points earned.

For example, if a student earns the following scores: 85/100 45/50 15/25 90/100 8/10

The total earned score is: 85 + 45 + 15 + 90 + 8 = 243

The maximum number of points is: 100 + 50 + 25 + 100 + 10 = 285

243/285 = 85%

**Classroom Rules**

Be on Time (come to class on time and be ready to learn)

Be Prepared (notebook, assignments, pencil)

Participate in Class (no sleeping, raise hand, read when asked)

Keep Conversations and Language Appropriate for School

Be Respectful (to yourself, your classmates and your teacher)
