The Travel / Lodging and Marketing program is designed to prepare students for careers in one of the largest , fastest growing industries in the nation. It is currently the second largest industry in the Commonwealth. You will learn all phases of operating a business organization with emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills. Several topics that will be covered in this program include types of hotel and service, careers in hospitality , handling reservations, night auditing, leadership and management team building, marketing and sales, basic record keeping, cash receipt records, basic keyboarding, and operating a school store. |
