Cosmetology

Course Description: The cosmetology course is designed to teach students to develope pride in their personal appearance, explore cosmetology careers and identify the necessary skills to become a competent cosmetologist. A major objective of this nine week course is to identify students who truly desire to pursue a career in the cosmetology profession. Thus, the the exploratory course follows the curriculum subjects (hair, nail, and skin) set by the State Board of Cosmetology, except for hair cutting, chemical straightening, State Law, and science chapters.
