Drafting and Design Technology
Drafting & Design Technology includes making accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough sketches to be used for engineering or manufacturing purposes, as well as Architectural and Civil Drawings. Technology demands precision and standardization and drafting meets this need by providing an accurate and efficient method of recording and analyzing ideas. The knowledge and understanding of various software’s will allow the students to implement and understand the basic Drafting and Design Technology fields. This course will prepare the students for further education in either a Technical college or State college as well as prepare them for employment in a Drafting Career.
