12th Grade English
English 12 is a course with emphasis on the senior project and job readiness skills. The 1st marking period concentrates on writing and preparing to present the senior project. Job readiness skills are emphasized for the remainder of the year. Job searching skills, writing a cover letter, creating and updating a functional and chronological resume, writing a follow up letter, and interviewing skills and practice are some of the areas covered.
Students will meet the following Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Academic Standards for Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening:
